Rushey Green ESOL

Do you love cooking traditional food from your country for your family?  Would you like to share it with others?

If you are struggling with learning English maybe you would like to join an ESOL programme devoted entirely to preparing delicious food from all over the world?

Each week one of the learners will demonstrate how to cook some favourite dishes from their home country and we’ll talk it through in English.  Learn English while you are having fun!

When the cooking is done, we’ll sit down and sample what’s been made.  We’ll relax and chat about food and share recipes.

The programme is open for all but you must love food and be proud of your national cuisine.

The programme is hosted at the Lewisham Irish Centre in Catford on xx afternoons from x to y.

LRMN will reimburse you for the cost of ingredients when it is your turn to demonstrate, and they will also pay the bus fare to get you there and back.

Dietary Requirements:  Our of respect for learners, all presentations should use halal meat, avoid pork and have at least one vegetarian dish.
